So! First news update since the redesign.
**Aeria Games Turf Battles News**
As you may or may not have seen, Imazic (Turf Battles Developer) has released a patch for the original Sephiroth game. They have assured Ando that we will also recieve these in Aeria Games Turf Battles version.
Here's a rough translation of the updates:
Monster EXP Raised
1) Ladianese and Verosian monster's EXP will increase ~150-400%.
a. Boss's EXP will increase 280%
2) Eastern Region
a. Plains, twisted, and low hills monster's EXP will increase 350-500%.
b. Oak Village monster's exp will increase 195-250%
c. Something about Crust and Troll's experience will be raised 185-200%
d. "Contaminated Land" monster's EXP will be raised 175-300%
3) "Isolation"(?)
a. Monster EXP will increase 310-330%
b. Boss monster EXP will increase 220%
4) Rampao
a. First floor normal mobs EXP increase 300-305%
b. First floor bosses EXP increase 400%
c. 2nd floor normal mob increase 400-410%
d. 2nd floor boss increase 400%
e. 3rd floor normal mob increase 300-420%
f. 3rd floor boss increase 220-600%
5) Frozenland
a. Normal mobs EXP increase 620-650%
b. Boss Monster increase 400%
6) Delph Floor 1
a. Normal mob EXP increase 150-300%
b. Boss mob EXP increase 170%~300%
7) Delph Floor 2
a. Normal mob EXP increase 140-180%
b. Boss Mob EXP increase 200%
Some duct boss EXP being increased by as much as 700-2000%
Other information:
Frozenland mobs HP reduced, vision reduced, damage done reduced.
Drop rates increased in some places
Probably of earrings dropping boosted by 10% from bosses
Regular monsters drop rate of items increase 10%
Multiple login has been enabled/allowed
A lot of the other changes zerovile posted in their post already.
Pretty good updates! Hopefully this will make leveling a bit more similar to the hyperengines version of the game. Until we test it however, it's hard to say.
This definitly confirms that the reason Imazic didn't originally want to make XP changes to the Aeria Games Turf Battles was because they feared loosing players on their Korean Sephiroth version.
**Turf Battles MUD News**
Okay so as you may have seen i've been posting up a lot of updates on the Aeria Games forums about the Turf Battles MUD. It's going slowely but surely! I have a lot less time to spend on it than i'd like. Luckily this weekend is a bank holiday weekend here in England :D So i'll have more time to do development work! (Provided I don't get dragged outside by my girlfriend ><)
I've also been keeping the MUD page up to date best I can. With that said however, i'll post the updates here on the front page as they're quite mixed up with everything else on that page!
First design of LAD (other areas are designed, but not so interesting or not ready :D)

As you can see, progress has been quite good.
As I have said on the MUD page I am open to all offers of help :)
OH! I totally almost forgot - when I was at work today I had a pretty interesting idea that i'm thinking of setting up for open beta.
Basically, i'll set up 4 - 6 characters to idle and sit around the soccer field, and then i'll stream the screens of those characters screens on the internet - so you would be able to watch what happens in the soccer field - for example if you're at school or work and can't play the game, you can check here and see whats happening in the soccer field!
Anyway, just an idea - something to think about ^_^
